These are the building blocks of playing drums, master some of these and there endless variations and you’ll be amazing. I think alot of great drummers were taught in a marching band (Gadd, John Blackwell, Travis Barker, Tommy Lee) it builds loads of control, stamina, vocabulary and playing ability.
Its a shame that there isn’t many Marching bands around (few in London). But here is a collection of the many rudiments that can be found on this little planet.
